DECADE: Potters of the Hikarigama Kiln 1995 2005. at the Walters Cultural Center in Hillsboro, Oregon. - March 2006 Bonita was one of the potters featured: DECADE featured forty potters firing out of Hiroshi Ogawa's Hikarigama kiln throughout the Center's galleries. In the theater space, ceramist Richard Rowland executed an installation of a wood fire kiln including work from potters of the Astoria area. The subtle beauty of wood fire ceramics and its creative process were the focus of these exhibitions, held in conjunction with the NCECA '06 conference in nearby Porland. |
